(Almost certainly made as a travelling salesman’s sample piece
of furniture which would have been used to display to potential
customers what could be produced on a larger scale back at the
workshops and take orders from this is in excellent condition
and very well made. Just about tall enough to be used
alongside a chair this beautiful and collectible piece still
very much has a practical and functional purpose in and
around the modern day home.)
