A late 18th century Danish armchair in elmwood, with graceful curves and carved details. Flower and leaf motifs decorate the cartouche-shaped back on the crest rail and the pierced splat. The S-curved arms with scroll terminals rest on tapered supports and flank a fabric-covered seat with a channel-carved serpentine front rail. All raised on tapered channel-carved legs with square feet.
