A handsome, well-aged George III trunk, late 18th century. The chest is comprised of mahogany wood with a warm reddish brown patina. A three-hinged door at the top opens into amply sized storage area, while right above the base are two small drawers. Brass pulls are affixed to the drawers as well as on the trunk’s side. The chest rests securely on ogee bracket feet with carved decorative trimming.
