A fine late 18th-century George III period mahogany oval-shaped open wine cooler, cellarette, or jardinière on its original stand. It features the original double-thick brass-bound rings, a pair of original chunky lion head brass handles, all raised on the original stand with four square tapered splayed legs, terminating on the original brass castors. The original oval brass liner can be removed from the mahogany casing. It is in lovely original country house condition with exceptional depth of color and patination.
