A Fine Bone Porcelain Plate by Edward Marshall Boehm “Young America 1776” – Eaglet. This limited issue plate is adapted from the young eagle statue by Edward Marshall Boehm and his artists and craftsmen. The eaglet represented to Mr. Boehm the spirit of youthful vigor and determination of our great Democracy. Even as a fledgling, it possesses a proud, independent look – a promise of its majestic adulthood.

This plate boosts the brighter white color and the translucent quality when a light is held up to it of fine bone porcelain. The intaglio border, an inch wide, employs a rich technique of hand-applied gold. Limited to an issue of six thousand, the plate is enclosed in a white leatherette case with a royal blue and red satin lining.
