A wonderful armchair, model 802, designed by Carlo Di Carli & Gio Ponti and manufactured by Cassina in Italy around 1950. Upholstered in high quality black skai (faux leather) on deep brown wooden legs. This piece combines seating comfort with a beautiful mid-century modern appeal! This combination of colors and materials create a nice harmonious style, while the smooth finish and tapered legs add to a sense of luxury. This piece fits seamlessly in many different kinds of decors while at the same time being a true statement piece. An highly recognizable find of Italian design by an iconic designer duo!
