Antique Louis XV display cabinet Napoleon III, Paris, around 1880 Fine veneer on solid oak, veneered and paneled with ebony inlays. Arched, single-door body (solid oak) with red-beige veined marble top. Three-sided glazing with rounded corners. Below a hand-painted Watteau scene of a young lady sitting. Rich fire-gilded bronze applications. The entire wooden body has multiple framed fire-gilded bronze strips which run across the entire body. Display cabinet on 4 slightly curved legs ending in sabots. Lockable door, inside with 3 curved shelves, 2 of which are made of glass. An extremely exquisite French display cabinet from the 19th century made in Paris. This showcase is an absolute eye-catcher and more beautiful in real life than in the photos
