Maker: William Café
Made in England, London, 1758
Fully hallmarked.
Whether it’s for dinner with friends or entertaining spirits in the attic, these candlesticks light your way.
These rare gems may be tarnished by time, but they’re shining like new with a thousand memories of sparkling flames that once warmed the evening air.
Around 1760, the most popular design was a square base with gadrooned rim decoration.
These candlesticks have the spool – shaped capitals and detachable nozzles and knopped stems.
Have engraved monogram ‘ HM’ and cockerel on a candlestick’s well.
