A George II Carved Giltwood Palladian Pier Mirror with broken pediment and acanthus topped and foliate carved scrolled cartouche, the frieze with splayed and overlapping palm leaf central detail, with all over egg-and-dart and foliate mouldings. The rectangular bevelled mercury plate surrounded by re-entrant cornered frame, above a shaped apron and carved central scallop shell. English, c.1740.
