What a piece! This is pure art furniture from every angle, the carving to the top depicts 17th century style eagles in the Georgian Irish manor, it has the original gold gilt finish which is sublime quality, super thick and cold to touch. The mulberry wood patina is to die for, you will never see a nicer grain of wood
The piece originally would have had drawers or shelves inside, it has been converted some time ago to a drinks cabinet with a mirror plate back
My French polisher has gone over it and sympathetically restored it as required being sure to keep the original finish, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there
