A simply glorious piece, the frame has the traditional George II narrow wings, it is the exact right size, the stud work is ornate and expertly tacked all over. The seat base is coil sprung and finished with an over stuffed, feather filled cushion, it is very comfortable. The base frame has ornately hand carved Lions claw ball feet, they are a work of art
The chair has fully restored to include having a new seat cushion made, the back panel outwards facing has also been replaced, both were done with premium Italian plain russet hide, the whole chair was then washed back and hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, the end result is this lovely cigar brown colour, the legs have been lightly French polished.

Condition
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
