This is a magnificent example of a George II brass face red walnut longcase clock. The hood having and elegant broken swan-neck pediment and brass finials, a fine long door with a shaped top, quarter rounded columns to the case, standing on shaped feet. A 30 hour movement in good working order with a stunningly engraved square brass dial with Arabic and roman chapter ring, date aperture and pierced spandrels. Maker Hariman of Workington.
