Welsh mid 18th century Georgian oak low dresser with three paneled drawers above two paneled cupboard doors and one stationery central panel. The three lower panels are fielded panels with the traditional “tombstone” curved shape. Both ends are paneled, as is the back. The traditional mortise, tenon and peg construction methods were used. This early small 54 inch dresser came from northern Wales and probably was originally made in the county of Denbighshire. Circa 1740.
