A George III period mahogany kneehole captains desk. Rare example of 18th century campaign furniture. Rich, dense Cuban mahogany inlaid with ivory escutcheons with period brass. Probably made on the Channel Islands. Britain, Circa 1760. Note, extended: 39.5″ x 31.5″x39″, Knee hole area: 11.75″Wx10″Dx22.75″H, lower back corner panel is separate but included. Small key as well.
